The Elites
The crème de la crop. Top of the top. They're like the royal monarchy of the Upper East Side; everybody knows who they are and everybody respects them. It's extremely hard to get it in and those who are in possess beauty, cunning, power and wealth. It also takes an old, well-known, respectable and upper-class family name to get into this group. You can only earn your way into this group.
- The Preps
They're the step down from the elites; most of them lack the charisma or ambition to make it to the top. Most of their families are lower upper-class. They love fashion, and are caught up with the latest trends. Have a bubbly personailty on the boarderline of being annoying. - The Jocks/Jockettes
Every single jock or jockette is involved at least one sports activity, but usually is involved with numerous activities. Their favorite fashion statement is the sports team jacket and their favorite topic is yesterday's football game. These people simply breath, live and eat sports. Although some of them might seem a tad dimwitted they have a heart of gold. - The Queen Bees
Think Mean Girls. These are girls that rule the school by being intimidating and mean. They aren't really a clique, but a group of friends who reign over the Upper East Side thanks to fear of them. They all belong in a side group, whether it be the elites or preps. Never do they isolate themselves from the social world. They're the ones who know the latest gossip, latest trends and latest fads. You can only earn your way into this group. - The Players
The charming members of this group have written their names upon the many student's of both Upper East Side and Queens, and have earned a reputation for doing so. These Casanovas & Juliette's know all the right words to say, often scoring rather than missing. To them, emotional and sexual relationships have become a game that usually leaves the other end hurtin'. Due to so many students getting hurt, these romantic flirts have been branded with disgusting names to warn others from committing to a relationship with them. - The Stoners
These people depend on drugs to get them by in life. They usually do bad in school or simply put, don't attend it. There's not a care in the world once they've inhaled their favorite drug. Most of them come from screwed up rich families, where abuse or violence may exist on a daily basis.
The Outcasts
Not quite at the top of the social ladder the out casts are fine just where they are.The take pride in there individuality and don't often follow the trends of the elites. Most don't come from money, and it shows with their choice of clothing, friends, and hang outs. Some are known but, not always for the right reasons. Some, however, are unhappy being know as an out cast and steadily try to make the treacherous climb up the social ladder.
- The Scenesters
They make anything old school new school and tend to gravitate to, pokemon, hello kitty, and nintendo, among other things. Usually have vivid streaks of color in their hair and elaborate layering. Often seeen at hardcore shows that consist of hardcore, screamo, and metal. Scenesters are practiclly emo kids with color. Mixing bright colors, rainbows, polka dots, neon and more with basic black tight clothes. - The Stoners

There are the ones passionate about singing, the ones passionate about the tango and those passionate about delivering an extraordinary performance These people are serious about their talents and are ready to ditch their education to further their creative career. They involve themselves in all the creative events around NYC, whether it be starring in the newest broadway show, performing live in a popular nightclub or simply creating a piece for an art gallery. The written word is the ultimate passion for these aspiring Silversteins. Seen occasionally at Starbucks with a café mocha and notepad in their pen, they write about many topics ranging from love to death with many prodigious adjectives. They're never short of something to say with their immense and impressive vocabulary. Many of them believe that the pen is, indeed, mightier than the sword. - The Emos
They are seen in black all the time in tight clothes with skulls, bands, and dark images printed upon them. Often called whiny they tend to complain how their life sucks and they contimplate suicide on a daily basis. Some of the clique's members cut, some listen to extreamly depressing music, and wear make-up. They all have one thing in common, though; each and every member tends to look on the dark side of life, which usually leads to severe cases of depression. They're not too common among The Upper East Side's student population. - The Dorks
Those who put studies and technology above all priorities belong in this group. These people are most likely to earn billions and millions when they're older, having careers in technological advancement. They love comic books, action figures and videogames, dorks seem unattractive to most. But, that isn't the case with all dorks. Some can take being nerdy and twist it in a way to make themselves attractive. Think Seth Cohen. Overall dorks are not the most popular students in school. - The Normals
There's a percentage of the school that doesn't like the system of cliques and chooses not to join them. Those people are called normal and ironically, are put into a clique by all the other groups. Most of them attend Montagris on a scholarship or come from a middle-class family that has a tad bit more money than needed to get by in life.
